PRACTICUM II: SOCIAL WORK FAMILIES PRACTICUM

Catalog description

Practicum II is the second course of the supervised practice component and the first of the specialty with families. This experience provides the student with the opportunity to integrate into a scenario focused on therapeutic practice with families. It provides the opportunity to base and integrate specialized theoretical methodological knowledge in the intervention process with diverse families. It emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration in accordance with the ethical principles of the profession, as well as the application of knowledge on diversity, human rights, social, economic and environmental justice, from an anti -racist, anti -oppressive and culturally humiliating approach. The students require 300 contacts hours in the scenario.
