Catalog description

This course is designed for the student to acquire knowledge and skills in the use, installation, operation and maintenance of motor controls, electric generators, and other machines. The characteristics of relays, contactors, solenoids and other electrical control devices will be studied. The concepts of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) also apply. Students will develop electrical system design and technology competencies in this course.
