Catalog description
This laboratory course provides the student with the theoretical concepts and practical skills used in electrical circuits. The concepts of voltages, currents, resistances will be applied. The topics are directed to the operation, selection and specifications of the different electrical devices such as resistors, capacitors and inductors. Also, in this course the principles of power supplies and transformer banks are applied. Students will develop competencies in scientific reasoning that are required to analyze and design electrical circuits commonly found in the field of electrical technology.
