This course emphasizes the study of the distribution of diseases and determinants of health in human populations to prevent and control human health issues. It includes the principles and methods of epidemiological studies and their limitations. The course content is aimed at identifying and interpreting epidemiological data; differentiating between association and causation and applying ethical and professional issues in epidemiology.
