INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICUM

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a synopsis of research techniques through direct experience. Students will gain experience in the field of collecting samples and data in the laboratory processing and analyzing samples, at the computer organizing and summarizing results, and in the classroom evaluating environmental data and presenting findings. The application of simple statistics and mathematical models to environment al problems will also be explored.
