Catalog description
This course examines the historical causes of Occupational Education in the United States and Puerto Rico, the importance of educating for employment, as well as the role that government and private industry play in its development. It also considers the laws that base Occupational Education, the components of the Areas of Occupational Studies, Conglomerates, Occupational Routes, their Specialties and Content Standards, in the same way the relationship with the Four-Year Plan and the DEE-CTE of each school.
