Catalog description

This course is designed to analyze the influence of contemporary society and government agencies on planning and curriculum development. The historical context in which the curriculum is developed and modified is examined, as well as theories related to the purpose of education and what is expected of the curriculum. In addition, the curriculum development processes will be discussed and analyzed: planning, implementation and evaluation.
