INTEGRATION OF TECHNOLOGY TO EDUCATION AND DISTANCE AND VIRTUAL LEARNING

Catalog description

The purpose of this introductory course on the integration of educational technologies is to provide a foundation based on the field of educational technology, and the tools available for teaching with technology in its different modalities (face-to-face, hybrid and or at distance). Throughout the course, different educational technologies will be presented and the student will be asked to experiment with them. They will also be asked to analyze and present how they could use them for educational purposes in their area of specialization. The student wil l conduct their explorations using a variety of media such as blogs, multimedia presentations, apps, and traditional documents. The student will also learn the strategies and best practices used to deliver distance or hybrid learning while ensuring effective communication with students.
