Catalog description

Small Animal Medicine II is a course of continuation that covers infectious, non-infectious diseases and pathological conditions of dogs and cats. The didactic approach of each disease entity includes the etiology, pathophysiology / pathogenesis, clinical signs, diagnostic methodology, medical management and aspects of preventive measures. It is expected that the student can extract the information acquired in the core courses previously completed to integrate and apply this information in relation to medical management and disease processes.
