Catalog description

The purpose of this class is to educate veterinary students the principles of modern veterinary toxicology and their applications in small, large and zoo/wildlife species. Students are expected to develop knowledge and a solid understanding of common toxins and signs of toxicosis in veterinary medicine, as well as decontamination techniques, treatment of existing conditions. As a result, the student is able to integrate nutritional management, in all its aspects in the practice of veterinary medicine.
