Catalog description

The course exposes students to the advances available on dental implants for the purpose of returning function and esthetics to patients who have lost teeth and tooth supporting structures through time. One of the course focus areas consist of the use of new technology to diagnose, plan, and execute comprehensive and predictable treatments in a less traumatic and more efficient way. The course contemplates advances related to biological, morphological, anatomical, and behavioral components for successful implant -based rehabilitation. Advances related to treatments of higher complexity and various approaches to implant -supported prostheses, as well as different alternatives of bone filling and grafting are also discussed.
