ORTHODONTICS AND DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPEDICS

Catalog description

This course provides introductory knowledge in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Students learn theoretical concepts and clinical skills to make functional diagnosis, facial diagnosis, skeletal diagnosis, and dental diagnosis. The course integrates treatment of malocclusion in the deciduous and mixed dentition of the chil d and adolescent, as well as the identification and referral of corrective orthodontic malocclusion treatments in the permanent dentition.
