Study of the head and neck emphasizing the structures of the oral cavity, anatomy of the skull and the temporomandibular joint. It includes the study of chewing and facial expression muscles, and those that make up the palate and its relationship with dentistry. It emphasizes critical thinking competencies through problem discussion, case analysis, and the search and management of related information. In addition, it facilitates the development of information skills.
