The second part of the course explores the “discourse of method” and its translation to “discourse as method” in Cultural Studies in relation to the onto-epistemological institution of truth and text. It studies the methodological tools that epistemological displacement, contained in the discourse analytical category, provides for the production of knowledge in Cultural Studies. Examine s reading formations, iconography, ethnography, writing and text as methodological instruments of Cultural Studies. Studies the idea of knowledge and its relationship to ethics, history and the figure of the researcher in Cultural Studies in reading traini ng, iconography, ethnography, writing and text.
