Study of the principles of the correctional system in Puerto Rico: philosophy, legal framework and regulations. Structure, functions and procedures in the administration of the penal institutions, the parole program, the adult probation system, the classification progr am, the diagnosis and treatment of inmates. Custody programs and treatment of minors are also discussed. .
