PRODUCTION AND POST-PRODUCTION OF DIGITAL VIDEO

Catalog description
Students will learn digital video production and postproduction through communication and student teamwork, they make audiovisual productions. It discusses the different stages of audiovisual creation: 1) Preproduction, 2) Production and 3) Postproduction. The student will become familiar with the background and process of audiovisual creation from the development of the idea; the elaboration of the script; production staff and equipment; workflows; and the distribution and marketing of the final product. S tudents will work on various creative projects: hands -on, written, photographed, and digitally created, applying the technology skills taught in the course. Assignments, both writing and creative, are based on individual creativity, execution, research, an d organization. The practical component of the course includes the use of production techniques, contemplating ethics and diversity, as well as the use of digital recording and editing equipment. The information skills acquired will allow them to create au diovisual content for different audiovisual platforms.
