Knowledge, learning and application of the most significant tools for research, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of virtual communities and social media. The course covers the characteristics, applications, ethical and legal aspects, and the importance of these digital and social platforms within the context of the community manager and the social media manager. Through the application of technological competence, emphasis will be placed on the professional uses and opportunities of these platforms for planning, research and management of the online presence of individuals and organizations and their relationships with different audiences. Through scientific reasoning, goals, objectives, strategies and tactics are designed and developed to carry out a social media plan (including social media management policies or guides), which leads to positive management of corporate online reputation. The competency of critical thinking is ap plied through readings, discussions, case studies and practical exercises, responsibly using media platforms and social networks, and other technological resources. Offered for one semester.
