Catalog description

Study of the composition and properties of matter, the diverse types of chemical reactions y energy transfer associated with physical and chemical changes of inorganic and organic compounds and biomolecules. The course addresses the basic concepts of general, organic and biochemistry in context with patient health care using internet searches, case studies and oral presentations using multimedia technology, among others. The course consists of 45 hours of lectures and 45 hours of laboratory.
