Catalog description
This course is a continuation of Human Anatomy and Physiology I and provides an in -depth study of major human organ systems, including the endocrine, cardiovascular, circulatory, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive systems. Emphasis is placed on the mechanisms of homeostasis and the physiological basis of common diseases and disorders. Students will explore anatomical structures and physiological functions in relation to each body system. The course prepares students to apply anatomical and physiological knowledge to real -world clinical and healthcare scenarios. Laboratory experiences and simulations complement lecture topics, reinforcing anatomical concepts and fostering practical application. This course supports advanced studies in health sciences and biomedical fields. The course consists of 45 hours of lectures and 45 hours of laboratory.
