Catalog description

The Zoology course is a focused course for natural science students. The course's vision is to study the different taxonomic groups that the Animal Kingdom has. Its purpose is to be able to develop knowledge in the Taxonomy of the Animal Kingdom such as th e following characteristics: Morphology, Physiology, Ecology, and Evolution with ethical integration. The laboratory course is a component in which the student will be able to develop different techniques using demonstrations, comparative studies of the taxonomic groups of the Animal Kingdom, dissections, studies of preserved organisms, and commercially prepared slides The course consists of 45 hours of lectures and 45 hours of laboratory.
