Catalog description

A study of the morphology, physiology, distribution and taxonomy of the five (5) principal divisions of the fungi kingdom: Zygomycetes, Myxomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Ascomycetes, and Deuteromycetes. Use and implications of the commercial application of fung i is explored. Laboratory experiences include the different methods of isolation, management, characterization or classification and control of fungi. The course consists of 30 hours of lecture s and 30 hours of laboratory.
