Science course that prepares the veterinary student to acquire the fundamental concepts of the Biology Biological Science such as: matter characteristics, the cell, introduction to Physiology and Anatomy of vertebrate animals and introduction to genetics. It includes introductory topics in the study of life and the diversity of nature and compare human beings with other animals’ part of the animal kingdom. This course includes some ethical aspects related to the humanity forms that society have to manage the different animal species. The course begins with the most basic aspects of science including atoms, molecules, chemistry, in addition, the sustaining systems of life are studied, such as the respiratory, endocrine, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary systems, comparing them with those of the human being as part of the animal kingdom those topics are included in the study units.
