Catalog description

This course focuses on the theory and practice of health assessment and health promotion across the life span. Assessment of all aspects of the patient’s health status for purposes of health promotion, health protection, and disease prevention is explored. Incorporates concepts, theories, and research on human development and genetics, prevention of disease, early detection of risk factors and anticipatory guidance. Minimum class time of 25 hours and 25 lab hours.
