These include communication theory, cognitive processing skills, cultural adjustments, contextual and situational factors, expansion techniques, controlling legislation and ethics and best practices. Various interpreting settings are examined, with special emphasis on educational interpreting, interpreter licensure and the national interpreting evaluation process.
