An introduction to marriage and family relationships from developmental, sociological, historical, cross-cultural and Christian perspectives. Theoretical consideration of how marriage and family life are structured, the crises that may disrupt family life, and effective intervention and prevention is included. Research methods that apply to marriage and family life are also explored.
