Environmental Education

Catalog description

This course combines elements from natural and cultural interpretation, ecology, and stewardship. Content will focus on the skills necessary for outdoor leaders to introduce and facilitate their participants' relationship to the land through which they travel. Identification of flora and fauna, astronomical observation, meteorological forecasting, and environmental sensitization are a few of the topics addressed in the class.
