Catalog description

The course focus is on the knowledge and attitudes needed to provide safe and effective care to patients. Students will explore scientific principles related to nursing interventions to safely and effectively implement interventions. Knowledge, skills and attitudes based on QSEN competencies, including patient-centered care, use of evidence based guidelines, quality improvement, safety and informatics will be incorporated. (Prerequisites: NURS 2310, NURS 2320, NURS 2330 and NURS 2340)
