The course focus is the delivery of community mental health nursing in a variety of settings. Guidance is given in assessing stressors and developing primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions within populations at risk for psychosocial stress and illness utilizing the nursing process. The Professional Seminar content will address the historical, legal, ethical, and social aspects of nursing; patient safety and advocacy from a Christian worldview. (Additional Course Fee; Prerequisites: NURS 2310, NURS 2320, NURS 2330 and NURS 2340)
