Nursing Care for Mental Health

Catalog description

The course focus is the delivery of community mental health nursing in a variety of settings. Guidance is given in assessing stressors and developing primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions within populations at risk for psychosocial stress and illness utilizing the nursing process. The Professional Seminar content will address the historical, legal, ethical, and social aspects of nursing; patient safety and advocacy from a Christian worldview.
