Catalog description

The course focus is on the theoretical and clinical application of healthcare principles involved in the assessment, planning and implementation of the nursing process appropriate for adults with various health problems in the acute care setting. Emphasis is placed on developing skills in problem-solving, clinical judgment, critical thinking allowing students to function as a beginning member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team for a variety of patient situations. Additional course fee. (Prerequisites: NURS 2310, NURS 2320, NURS 2330 and NURS 2340)
