This introduction to chaplaincy ministry explores a biblical and theological foundation for chaplaincy and introduces the student to various types of chaplaincy, such as hospital, hospice, military, first responder (law enforcement and fire), federal and state agency (i.e., prison and other agencies), and corporate chaplaincies (business, retirement centers, and other for-profit and not-for-profit centers). The general expectations and requirements for each type of chaplaincy position are examined. (Offered based on need)
