A study of sets, logic, number theory, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers (as fractions and decimals), irrational numbers, and problem solving. A conceptual approach is supplemented with laboratory activities. (Prerequisite: MATH 1520 or MATH 1511 or demonstrated algebra competency)
