First and second laws of thermodynamics; thermodynamic properties of pure substances and applications of thermodynamic systems operating in steady state and transient processes; energy-systems analysis including conventional power cycles, refrigeration cycles and heat pump cycles. Prerequisite: CHEM 1510 and MATH 2530.
