Catalog description

Designed to provide advanced knowledge and understanding of the forces which affect learning. The student will learn to utilize the facts, ideas, and principles that are fundamental to an understanding of the teaching and learning process and the growth and development of the learner. Students will integrate a Christian perspective of educational psychology in the application of research and principles to administrative and classroom practices. Includes study of factors for success for students with disabilities and/or learning differences and English language learners. Course requires 15 observational hours in a school setting.
