Provides a focus on the design, implementation and evaluation of the Understanding by Design (UbD) model of instructional planning with an additional emphasis on assessments FOR and OF learning. In addition, the differences between evaluation and supervision of curriculum and instruction will be emphasized. Students will also explore the Effective Schools research.
