Catalog description
This course is a study of human resource needs in the modern business organization, including recruitment strategies; screening, selection and placement of applicants; job analysis; training and development; appraising and rewarding performance. Emphasis is placed on the application of research findings to diagnose and solve organizational problems. Ethical implications of management decisions will be considered and evaluated. (Prerequisite: BUSS 2940)
