An introduction to scientific methods; molecular and cellular structure and function; taxonomy and the diversity of living organisms; Mendelian genetics; and the history of life on Earth. Three hours of lecture and a 2 & 1/2 hour lab session per week. This course satisfies the lab science requirement in General Education. CorequisiteL BIOL-2520L Lab Note: There is a lab fee for this course.
