Biology I

Catalog description

This course is half of the two-semester sequence providing an introduction in the life sciences for biology majors. This course covers cell biology, classical and molecular genetics, and the history of life on earth. Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab per week. Registration for this course is restricted to declared biology or biotechnology majors, or by consent of instructor. Note: There is a lab fee for this course.
