Units: 3 Prerequisite: Completion of MUS 6B with grade of "C" or better Advisory: Completion of MUS 40C with grade of "C" or better or equivalent piano skill; completion with grade of “C” or better or concurrent enrollment in MUS 4A Hours: 54 lecture This course incorporates the concepts from MUS 6B. In addition, through writing, listening, and analysis, it includes the study of applied chords, modulation, 18th century counterpoint, modal mixture, and an introduction to chromatic harmony.
