Units: 0.5 Hours: 13 (7 lecture, 6 laboratory) Field study that introduces the ecology of the Sutter Buttes. The area is investigated in the field to identify and study the characteristic plants and animals and discover their relationships with the physical environment. This class may require ability to hike moderate distances on uneven ground. (CSU)
