Catalog description

This course will introduce students to the fundamental principles and major applications of epidemiology. Students will learn central concepts and methods in the study of public health problems in populations. The course will center on how to interpret and assess epidemiologic research, and how to apply it in public health practice. Corequisite(s): Both courses can be pre- or co-requisite: SOCI 385 MATH 117
