Introductory course for the International Studies Major and Minor, International Development Minor and Area Studies Certificates. Uses an interdisciplinary approach to assist in understanding other cultures, countries, and world regions, and the global forces that link them together. Teaches research and problem-solving to mitigate tensions in cross-cultural encounters, international relations and globalization. Corequisite(s): ENGL 114 or ENGL 115 or HONR 106 or Permission of Instructor
