Catalog description

Students will examine how stress is conceptualized, analyze our body’s physiological stress response, and evaluate the relationship between stress and well-being. Sources of stress in different populations and settings will be explored. Emphasis will be placed on evaluating one’s own stressors and stress reactions. Students will also gain skill in using different types of stress management interventions, including relaxation techniques. Category: Citizenship & Responsibility - R
