Catalog description

The aim of the engineering internship is to enable students to gain experience and build their practice their engineering skills in a real-world setting. The scope of work for the internship must be aligned with the program of study for the student. Throughout the internship, the student will keep a journal of the hours and work performed. Students will produce a reflection and summary of their internship experience. An internship employer will provide a review of the student’s work at the conclusion of the internship. Corequisite(s): Junior or Senior standing in the major and department approval
