Catalog description

Examines human impacts on the environment. Students will explore issues resulting from the expanding human population and our increasing consumption of resources, and will consider sustainable alternatives. Topics include: basic ecology, human population growth, biodiversity and conservation, climate change, resource use, and pollution. Three hours lecture/week.
