Instrumental Conducting

Catalog description

This course involves further refinement of effective musicianship through the development of skills in instrumental conducting, score reading, teaching music courses, rehearsal techniques for choral and instrumental music, business procedures, organization and management of large and small instrumental ensembles. Focus will be primarily on instrumental conducting, with additional emphasis on acquiring competency in rehearsal combined vocal and instrumental school groups.
