Catalog description

In this course, students will learn effective musicianship through study of the fundamentals of conducting, including patterns, baton technique, score reading and rehearsal techniques for choral and instrumental music. Students will acquire the basic rehearsing and conducting techniques that will allow them to lead choral and instrumental ensembles and be a more active and informed ensemble member.
