Catalog description

This course covers operating system principles and functionality. Operating system (OS) memory, processes, networking and file management are explored. Students learn to install, configure, administer, monitor and harden systems in a networked environment. Virtualization, operating system utilities and secure remote access tools are used to apply operating system (OS) concepts and best practices.
