Spirituality in Patient Care

Catalog description

This course is intended to give the student in the School of Health Professions and the School of Pharmacy an overview of spirituality as it relates to healthcare and provide applications in the patient care arena. Students will explore the ever-expanding body of knowledge linking spirituality and patient care outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on the knowledge, skills, values, meanings and of the spiritual experiences of patient, family and the healthcare team.
