Catalog description

This course introduces students to basic filmmaking through specific techniques of digital video production from the camera to the computer. Topics include script development, lighting, project management, cinematography, sound recording, editing and directing. They will learn the basic language of cinema through hands-on manipulation of the camera and editing software. Basic aspects of production, including preproduction and postproduction, will be studied.
