Catalog description

This course is an introduction to current issues and methods in the environmental professions and to selected scientists, thinkers and activists whose efforts have shaped the environmental and sustainability studies fields. The course includes field sessions, laboratory experiences and an examination of career opportunities. Intended for first year students, sophomores and transfer students in environmental studies and natural sciences programs but open to all students. Two lecture hours per week.
